How Our Grants Work
Every three months, we award grants to registered charities and not-for-profit organisations working within the Armed Forces community. Our grants support direct services for veterans experiencing poverty, homelessness, PTSD, and mental ill-health.

Maximum Grant Amount: £1,000
Application Cycle: Every 3 months
Decision Timeline: 7 days from application deadline
Next Application Opens: 14th February 2026
Who can apply?
You can apply if you are:
✓ A registered charity in England and Wales ✓ A not-for-profit organisation supporting Armed Forces veterans ✓ Providing direct support in areas of poverty, homelessness, PTSD, or mental ill-health
We cannot fund:
╳ Individuals (we only fund organisations) ╳ Projects outside our charitable objectives
What we support
Poverty Relief
Financial support, food assistance, and essential supplies for veterans experiencing financial hardship.
Housing Support
Services for veterans experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity, including emergency accommodation and rehousing support.
Mental Health Services
PTSD support, counselling, therapy, and mental health interventions specifically for veterans.
Wraparound Support
Holistic services addressing multiple challenges veterans face, from financial advice to wellbeing programmes.
How to Apply
When you support Veterans Society:
Ensure your organisation meets our eligibility criteria and your project aligns with our funding priorities.
Download and complete our application form, providing details about your organisation and how the grant will be used.
Send your completed application to theveteranssociety@gmail.com before the deadline.
We aim to make decisions within 7 days of the application deadline and will notify all applicants via email.
